USPS Service Alterations July 2020

As we enter the sixth month of the shipping industry adapting to the challenges of coronavirus, many USPS service suspensions that were previously in place have been lifted. Even with the lifted suspensions, however, the USPS still has several service alterations in place. Below are the USPS service alterations as of July 22, 2020.

INTERNATIONAL MAIL

International mail services have faced many logistical challenges due to lack of transportation, as a result, the USPS has suspended mail to the international destinations listed below. DOMESTIC MAIL

The USPS has not suspended any domestic services, however, some delivery commitments have been extended by one day.

USPS Priority Mail

Priority Mail packages with two and three-day delivery commitments have been extended an extra day to three and four days respectively. Priority mail packages with local one-day delivery commitments will remain the same. Customers using Priority Mail express will still receive standard end-to-end tracking.

USPS First-Class Package Service

First-Class Package Service packages with two and three-day delivery commitments have been extended an extra day to three and four days respectively.

MILITARY MAIL

This USPS has suspended Military Mail Service to the ZIPs listed below. Today, the USPS restored service to eight Military Mail ZIPs, bringing the total to 15 ZIPs restored in May.
