I recently hosted a fascinating webinar with Suzanne Miglucci and Jenny Hock from our partner ChannelAdvisor. We reviewed the findings from a commissioned study conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of Endicia, titled Leveraging Online Marketplaces to Reach New Customers and Grow Incremental Revenue. I recommend you take some time to view the webinar. Since it’s available for on-demand play, you can view it on your schedule. We had some really great questions as well. I wanted to follow up on one question and shed a little bit more light on the survey respondents. During our webinar, a question was asked about what the average yearly revenue of the retailers interviewed was. Here’s the breakdown:
- 50% of the retailers self-reported that their total online revenue in 2011 was less than $100,000
- 33% of retailers said their online revenue in 2011 was between $100,000 and $499,000
- 10% said it was between $500,000 and $999,999
- 7% said their online revenue was between $1 million and $4.99 million
If you’re interested in reading the entire whitepaper, we’ve included it in the on-demand presentation, under the resources icon. You’ll find it on the bottom of the ON24 interface once you log-in to the webinar.
